This wonderful volume is in Excellent condition with some light shelving and storage wear to the cover. The inside pages
are clean, white and tight. The map looks like it is brand new. The gold on the cover shows some wear from age. The
book is Number XXV from the series, "Early Western Travels, 1748-1846, A Series of Annotated Reprints of some of the
best and rarest contemporary volumes of travel, descriptive of the Aborigines and Social and Economic Conditions in the
Middle and Far West, during the Period of Early American Settlement. Volume XXV, Comprising a Series of original
paintings by Charles Bodmer, to illustrate Maximilian, Prince of Weid's Travels in the Interior of North America,
1832-1834." The book was Edited by Ruben Gold Thwaites, L.L.D.. This was published by The Arthur H. Clark Company of
Cleveland Ohio in 1906. There are 81 plates in all of scenes and the Native Americans in the Volume. The map shows
where Maximilian traveled during his stay in the United States.
