AUDUBON'S WESTERN JOURNAL 1849-50 - JOHN AUDUBON 1906

This great book is in very good condition with the original map and tissue on plates. The book has some of the pages uncut from the binder. This is fully titled, Audubon's Western Journal: 1849-1850. Being the MS. record of a trip from New York to Texas, and an overland journey through Mexico and Arizona to the Gold Fields of California. This was written by John W. Audubon with a biographical memoir by his daughter Maria R. Audubon. The introduction, notes and index are by Frank Heywood Hodder. This was published by The Arthur H. Clark Company of Cleveland in 1906. There are 248 pages with a group of advertisements from the publisher in the back.
